SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2014
*12Feb2014*

Not much swag this year at the 2014 airshow but the static displays and flybys are always a great crowd-pleaser. Take a look at some of the snap shots taken at this year's event. Food is plenty (at a price of course) and the live band was amazing. Best swag give away was the coca-cola booth, giving away Cola to everyone.
Perhaps the only downside, is the seemingly rising fees, just to get to and fro the event.
Note there is a SGD10 surcharge taking a cab out from that place and the 4lane merging into one, created a bottle neck getting in. (Paid approximately 20SGD each way. I write this as a record of how much would it be for the next airshow in 2016.)

For more details, click here for Singapore Airshow, 2014 for the best ways to get in and out of the airshow grounds.
ABBAtip:
- Your best bet is to share a cab rather than taking the SGD8 one way tickets for the bus shuttle in and out of the showgrounds.
Live commentary by DJ Joe Augustin as this, live advertisement with themed music playing in the background. Beautiful. Note how quiet the engines are as the A350 does its flyby.

Osprey

XWB A350

A look and a seat inside.
Much larger Multi-Function Displays with interchangeable displays for enhance crew briefings and awareness. Pilots on site seemed thrilled with the further, reclinable seats which were on the A350 as demonstrated by A350 agent.
Aircraft just being towed in after its fly by.

 Such pretty taxi lights.

Dreamliner B787
Conceptual design by Lufthansa on the B787.
In property terms, probably a 2 room penthouse.

A nice top bunk with adjoining toilet for the pilots.
Looks like the media room upon door 1L entry.
Behind that is the dining room and main living room.
Followed by the dining hall and second living room. And subsequently a bar located behind.

A library before that. A followed by two bedrooms located towards the back.

Changi Airport Plans
and Expansions

Even airports have trending designs. Option 1?

 or 2.

A look of terminal 4 added to the family.

 Scale models of T4.

As well as featuring Jewel. A shopping mall development at future Changi.

and below are just some more of the snap shots from the show grounds :)

RSAF Show was pretty awesome. You get to see a cockpit view of the black knights performing the aerobatics as well the hardworking team that brings it all together. In 3D to boot.
