Getting Around:
Rented from Dollar Car Rental Shop

To return a car after hours(1830hrs for Dollar Car Retals), one can park in the multi-story car park above, shared by the car rentals shops at USD22 a night if it is returned before 0930hrs the next day. Otherwise it'll be USD32 for overnight parking.

ABBATip:
For this day trip, as it was a weekend, cars for single day hire were far and few to be found. we had to go to alternate car rental companies. (Click here for located tails on alternate car rentals) Although Dollar car rentals took sometime (40mins) they did finally pull through with a huge car to accommodate all 7 off us.
For the following account of the day below, we pushed off from Dollar Car Rental shop at 1015hrs. And returned back to the hotel after a late dinner at approximately 2330hrs. Click here for complete routing of trip.
With a party of seven, along with full insurance coverage, self pump petrol option and returning the next morning before 0930hrs (USD22 overnight and checkout before 0930hrs parking charge included),
- the total charge, all in was about USD30per pax.

The Home of Mrs Doubtfire

(From the movie Mrs Doubtfire,
played by the late Robin Williams 1951-2014)
The corner house became a make-shift spot from anyone to pay tribute to the late Robin Williams, who brought so many laugh and smiles to everyone in the 80s and 90s. The home is currently inhabited by a doctor who mentioned in an interview that he doesn't mind the pilgrimage, especially with such a sudden passing of, funny man Robin Williams.

Cliffhouse photo camera and
a walk down to the bath houses
Worth the USD3 paid for sure! The video doesn't do this simple contraption justice. Based of Leonardo Da Vinci's Designs' it projects the outside world down onto a concave surface, giving that surreal 3D effect. It's like a min omnimax in a huge dish. Absolutely beautiful imagery.

Take a leisurely stroll down to the remnants of the base house for picturisque shots and feel for the ocean. Ladies are better to have proper foot wear on as the slopes are a little steep and with broken rocks covering the surface.
Golden Gate Bridge Lookout Point

A quick stop over at the golden gate bridge's look out point, with a short historical tour and souvineers shopping.

Muir Woods

USD7 entry for adults

An amazing serene  place which dwarfs you as you stand beneath the canopy. Well worth the travel down, and even more so if target to attend one of their free tours, which runs at intervals throughout the day. Who knew theres so much to know!

In all honestly, it really boils down to who's your tour guide for the day. We were really lucky when Thomas, a volunteer master ranger, photo bombed the girls. Whom later was convinced by the flock to offer a private tour of a small section of the forest.

His wealth of knowledge, and, "knowing loads of cool stuff" was uncanny and incredibly interesting.
From the stories of the life of the tree being stuck by lightning whilst it's brother tree did not, to George Washington look-a-like stump and ancient ferns filled with silica minerals. It's not just statistics, but incredibly fun and interesting facts, with full on touch and feel interactivity. Who knew trees could be this interesting. A short intro/photo-bomb, turned into an amazing 2hrs.

Our saviors buying some In and Out burgers to tide over the hunger.
Click here for review of In and Out burgers and its off-menu cult following.

ToyRUS/Baby R US shopping

A round trip drive to Toy R Us to do some shopping.
ABBATip: There's is no charge when driving out of San Fran city, but a charge is incurred when you drive into the city. Approx 5-9USD.

Attempted a meal at House of Prime Rib
(yet to be reviewed)

The place was packed on a Saturday night at 2115hrs. Even then without reservation, a minimum1hr wait. So long patrons are in before closing hours of 2200hrs, they will get to enjoy their meal at leisure. Will Definitely come back for a proper review.

Returned car to upper story parking above Dollar Rental and ending with dinner at Bangkok.

With a party of seven, along with full insurance coverage, self pump petrol option and returning the next morning before 0930hrs (USD22 overnight and checkout before 0930hrs parking charge included),
- the total charge, all in was about USD30per pax.
